Nadi –Tongue Agni ViddhKarma workshop was organized by Ayurveda Welfare Foundation, Solapur in Collaboration with “Anushastra” Pune as a part of Pre – Satellite Seminar 10th WAC -10th World Ayurveda Congress & Arogya Expo 2024

The workshop aimed to provide an in-depth understanding and practical training on Nadi Agni (pulse assessment based on Ayurveda) and Agni Viddha Karma (a therapeutic procedure involving controlled heat application using Agnikarma techniques). These ancient Ayurvedic practices hold significant value in diagnosing imbalances and treating musculoskeletal disorders, pain, and chronic conditions

The inaugural function was held in the Presence of Dr. Raghvendra Nadargi ,Dr.Ramesh Shendge Dr.Amol Bansode ( Expert Speaker ) Dr. Shilpa Yerme ( Expert Speaker).

First session by Vd. Shilpa Yerme began with an overview of the principles of Nadi Pariksha (pulse diagnosis), highlighting its role in understanding the doshic balance (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) and underlying conditions. Participants learned about techniques to assess subtle changes in the pulse and correlate them with systemic health.

The second session by Vd. Amol Bansode explored the theoretical framework of Agni Viddha Karma, emphasizing its use as a minimally invasive procedure for pain management and tissue rejuvenation. The concept of using heat to stimulate healing and balance doshas was explained in detail.

On this occasion delegates from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka were present. The workshop received positive feedback, with participants appreciating the blend of theory and practice. Many expressed confidence in applying the learned techniques in their clinical settings. The workshop successfully bridged traditional Ayurvedic knowledge with practical application, fostering skill development and encouraging the integration of ancient practices into modern therapeutic frameworks.

Special thanks to Participants and students who made this event a grand success.

Ayurved Ayurveda is a very ancient and experienced medical science. Since 2016, Ayurveda Day is being celebrated all over the world.
Union Minister of AYUSH (Independent Charge) Hon. Shri Prataprao Jadhav has revealed that the theme of the 9th Ayurveda Day is “Ayurveda Innovation for Global Health” in the press conference organized at Ayush Bhawan.
Very dedicated, this is the theme. How to awaken the life of life in Ayurvedach Sangte. Ayurveda is the only scripture that provides basic energy, mental structure, physical structure or nourishment to all of the human beings.
Today, all the medical branches have made tremendous progress and Ayurveda is not only there, the whole world regards Ayurveda as a progressive, innovative based science. Most of the health related information is seen and searched through various media (Youtube, Facebook, Instagram). Apart from this, practitioners of the same medical science and businessmen also practice Ayurveda systematically, which means Ayurveda innovation.
Food, clothing, shelter, health and essential facilities are the needs of every person in the world.
New breakthrough innovations in Ayurveda for global health: After the corona outbreak of 2020, new avenues have become available for Ayurveda. In modern times, modifications and innovations in Ayurveda are increasing across the world. Ayurveda is important in solving global health problems. At the same time, new treatment methods are being developed by combining Ayurveda and modern science.
1. Modifications of Ayurvedic Medicines: The properties of traditional medicines and plants of Ayurveda are currently being used as modifiers globally. For example, the properties of turmeric, ginger, brahmi and immunity boosting medicines like ashwagandha, asparagus etc. are known not only in India but are accepted globally.
2. With the advancement of Ayurvedic science and technology for modern lifestyle, human life is surrounded by many problems like stress, insomnia, laziness, depression, diabetes, blood pressure and indigestion. Or suggest Ayurveda effective solutions to the increasing problems arising in modern lifestyle. Ancient Ayurvedic experts provide personalized health advice based on "dosha prakruti" and provide advice online and through various applications using modern technology. Or through this medium the importance of diet, daily routine and yoga was explained to the people.
3. Creation of new medicines: Some traditional medicines used in Ayurveda are prepared by changing their ingredients and with the help of modern science. Due to this, the efficiency of the medicine is increased and its results are more effective. For example, some Ayurvedic medicines are prepared in different forms (pills, capsules, syrups), which makes them easy to use.
4. Sustainable and Natural Remedies Modern medicines often contain chemical components, which can have side effects on the body. In comparison, Ayurveda treatments are done using natural substances, which reduces the side effects. At present, the concept of "sustainable health" is being promoted globally, in which Ayurveda plays a major role.
5.Cosmetics and their uses: Herbal industry has spread its wings all over the world and Ayurveda plants are used extensively.
5. Yoga and meditation are physical diseases that can almost be cured by medicine, but why should they be celebrated? Today, the evidence of mental illness as per the survey is shocking all over the world. To improve mental health, it is necessary not only to take medicines but also to provide mental health supplements. The concept of mental health is exclusive to Ayurveda and Satvik diet, yoga and meditation or Ayurvedic principles are accepted worldwide. Yoga increases physical efficiency and meditation provides mental peace. This helps in controlling stress and mental disorders.
6. Due to the international recognition and popularity of Ayurveda, many educational institutions globally have started its research. World Health Organization (WHO) and other organizations also encourage recognizing the importance of Ayurveda. Some countries have recognized Ayurvedic medicines and treatment methods, which encourages innovation in the field at the international level.
In short, the innovative uses of Ayurveda are playing an important role in the global health system. By combining traditional and natural treatment methods and modern science, Ayurveda works to find effective solutions to global health problems. This helps in improving not only physical but also mental and emotional health.
Best wishes to everyone for a healthy Diwali!
